Hon Tolu Bankole Felicitates Ogun At 50

Fellow sons and daughters of Ogun State,

I bring you warm greetings from the leadership of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and extend my heartfelt congratulations to every citizen of our beloved Gateway State as we proudly mark 50 glorious years of existence.

This golden jubilee is far more than the mere passage of time. It is a celebration of five decades of unwavering resilience, boundless enterprise, relentless innovation, and consistent excellence. Ogun State has remained a cradle of pioneers—a land that has produced exceptional leaders, profound thinkers, visionary industrialists, celebrated artists, and dedicated patriots who have not only shaped the destiny of our dear nation but have left indelible footprints across the globe.

Today, we stand in awe of the remarkable journey we have travelled together—from our deep-rooted cultural heritage and rich historical legacy to our burgeoning industrial strength and growing reputation as an economic powerhouse. Ogun State continues to shine as a beacon of opportunity, hope, and limitless potential for all who call her home and for those who choose to invest in her future.

I wish to specially commend the purposeful, visionary, and people-centred leadership of our Executive Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON. Under his administration, Ogun State has witnessed unprecedented strides in critical sectors: massive infrastructure development, aggressive industrial expansion, revitalized education systems, enhanced security architecture, and sustained economic growth. These deliberate efforts have firmly positioned our state as one of the most attractive investment destinations in Nigeria and a model of progressive governance in the country.

As members of the All Progressives Congress, we remain deeply committed to supporting the administration’s agenda for inclusive prosperity, sustainable development, and the continued upliftment of every segment of our society. Together, we shall build on the solid foundation laid over the past 50 years to create an even brighter, more prosperous, and more united Ogun State for generations yet unborn.

On this historic milestone, I say once again: Happy 50th Anniversary to the great people of Ogun State!
